Terry comes from a small farming community in Nebraska. His first experience with an amputee was a family friend and neighbor. Terry was about five years old at the time. He could see the devastating effect of loosing an arm. But when that farmer had a properly fitting prosthesis, he could do nearly everything he was doing before the accident, and maybe a few new things. This was a strong message that still resides in Terry’s memory today. His neighbor is why he will always have a strong interest in upper extremity prosthetics.
Terry resides in Sioux Falls with his wife Staci and his children Sydni and Tate. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and knows that will have to wait until the children get a little older. Go Huskers!
